Media Release: Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger's Prayer for Jonathan Pollard

Rabbi Yona Metzger, Chief Rabbi of Israel has composed a prayer for Jonathan Pollard to be said regularly as a Misheberach for Jonathan Pollard.

The Chief Rabbi requests of every Kehillah (congregation) to include this prayer for Jonathan in their Teffillahs every time the Torah is read, until Jonathan is home. Please assist in this mitzvah by printing the prayer and bringing it to the attention of your rabbi and prayer leader.

This prayer does not replace the Special Prayer for Jonathan Pollard by HaRav Mordecai Eliyahu. It adds to the body of public prayers for Jonathan Pollard by providing a simple, elegant and powerful format for use in public prayer.

This prayer has been made available to the public courtesy of the National Council of Young Israel.
