The Pollard mobile is one of two vehicles that travel the length and breadth of Israel raising awareness of the plight of Jonathan Pollard and of the mitzvah of pidyan shivuyim (the redemption of a captive). These mobile bulletin boards are the personal project of Reb Shlomo Kalifon and his wife to educate the public on Israel's highways and byways. Esther Pollard met up with the Kalifons in Kyriat Arba where these photos were taken by Nadia Matar of Women in Green.
