William Kampiles

The following articles describe the case of William Kampiles, a CIA employee who stole a top-secret satellite manual and sold it to the Soviet Union.

His forty year sentence was reduced to 19 years. In 1996, it was reported that he was to move to a half-way house to prepare for his release. Strangely, there been no further media coverage of the case since that time.
