'Jonathan Pollard's health not stable'

Esther Pollard set to arrive in Israel on Wednesday after visiting her husband Jonathan at a U.S. prison - Committee to Free Jonathan Pollard to start preparations for U.S. President Barack Obama's upcoming visit to Israel - Esther Pollard to meet with a number of Israeli politicians next week.
The wife of imprisoned Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard was set to land in Israel on Wednesday after visiting her husband at a federal prison in North Carolina.
Esther Pollard said her husband's medical condition was not stable. Jonathan Pollard's health has deteriorated over time. In December, it was reported that he was hospitalized after collapsing in prison.
Pollard, 58, was arrested by U.S. authorities in 1985 and later sentenced to life in prison.
Upon arriving in Israel, Pollard's wife will begin preparations, along with the Committee to Free Jonathan Pollard, for U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Israel next month.
Esther Pollard is expected to meet next week with a number of Israeli politicians, including Yair Lapid, Shelly Yachimovich, Tzipi Livni and Zehava Gal-On.
