"Shalom, I'm Ben Caspit and today for the "good cop" award, I'm voting for Lawrence Korb, who was the deputy defense minister and right hand of the former US minister of defense Caspar Weinberger.

"Korb broke his silence and wrote an article in which he states that the time has come to free Jonathan Pollard, that his life sentence is grossly disproportionate, and that whatever information Pollard knows poses no threat to national security.

"The claim that Pollard was responsible for the deaths of US agents has long been debunked and is an evil lie.

"It is true that we might take issue with Korb for waiting so long to come forward and tell the truth - 25 years after Pollard's arrest.

"But then we remember that his boss, former US minister of defense Caspar Weinberger, left this world without ever bothering to tell the truth about how he sent Pollard to prison for the rest of his life for no reason other than his own anti-Semitism, so it's all relative.

"Korb proves that what Pollard's supporters have been saying all these years is true: Pollard has been rotting in prison for a quarter of a century for no good reason - because of Weinberger's "visceral dislike" of Israel and because of callous American indifference.

This has got to end!"
