State prosecutor to Jerusalem mayor: Evacuate Beit Yehonatan
YNET News Update - January 28, 2010
State Prosecutor Moshe Lador harshly criticized the behavior of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Bareket during the affair in which an evacuation order was issued for Beit Yehonatan in the Silwan neighborhood of east Jerusalem. "It is expected that the municipality will act without delay in accordance with the order," Lador wrote.
Beit Yehonatan, which has seven floors, was built without a permit in 2004 and is occupied by Jewish families associated with the right-wing Ateret Kohanim movement.
