Update:

His Honor, HaRav Mordechai Eliyahu, shlita has been removed from the respirator and is now breathing on his own. He is conscious and communicating, able to speak. However he is very weak and his condition is, at best, delicate. He remains in intensive care under careful observation. There is no plan to remove him from intensive care at this time.

The family of his honor, HaRav Mordechai Eliyahu, has arranged for a mass prayer rally to take place at the Kotel, this Wednesday (the 23rd of Iyar) at 5:30 PM. The family requested Jonathan's help in publicizing the event through our email lists. Jonathan instructed both J4JP and The Committee to Bring Jonathan Pollard Home to lend our full support by publicizing the event in Hebrew and in English to all of our lists. [See

Jonathan personally urges everyone to attend the massive prayer rally to pray for the Rav's health, and to pray for mercy for Am Yisrael, that we should merit the Rav's speedy and full recovery. Participants are asked to bring shofars. Please be there! Please spread this message!
