Arutz7 reports today about the fate of those who joined the Israeli Border Guard in order to participate in the Deportation of Gaza's Jews:
Police Recruits Deployed for Disengagement Being Dismissed
Young people who were recruited into the Border Guards ahead of the implementation of the Gaza-Samaria Disengagement Plan are finding themselves "disengaged" from their positions.
The officers in question, who have received letters of termination in recent days, were promised at the time of their recruitment that their employment was to be long-term, not just for the period of the Disengagement.
280 of the Border Guard officers received the letters of termination, according to Yediot Acharonot. The reason for their termination is given as severe financial shortfalls in the police department, under whose auspices the Border Guards fall.
If a woman is promised marriage by a man who cheats on his wife, is she supposed to believe him? A similar answer applies to a government that encourages the building of communities one day, and deports the citizens from the same communities the next day. Not to mention a government that has abandoned her agent, Jonathan Pollard.
The GOI is not to be trusted - period.
