Israeli Youth Enlist For Pollard
March 24, 1998 - Arutz-7 News
Finance Minister Yaakov Ne'eman visited Jonathan Pollard last night in his prison cell in North Carolina, U.S.A. Pollard, who has served 12 years of a life sentence for spying for Israel, told Ne'eman that support within the American Jewish community for his release is not significant enough to move U.S. President Clinton to grant him a pardon.
The Council of Youth Movements in Israel announced today the kick-off of a campaign on behalf of Jonathan Pollard. Among other activities, the youth will distribute bumper stickers calling for his release, and will call upon Clinton, in the name of Israeli youth, to pardon Pollard for humanitarian reasons.
