Communications Minister Limor Livnat presented convicted spy Jonathan Pollard with his first letter from an Israeli Prime Minister when she visited him in prison Wednesday, Ma'ariv reported. Ministers Yaakov Neeman and Eli Yishai also sent letters to Pollard. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressed hope that Pollard would soon be freed and wrote:
"I hope that our continued effort in your case will bear fruit and that you will be released in the near future."
