July 27, 1997Jerusalem - In response to the High Court of Israel's order that it respond to the petition filed by Jonathan Pollard, the Government of Israel has now replied to the court indicating only that it has no objection to setting a date for a court hearing.
The articles below reflect the roots of the betrayal of Jonathan Pollard and the high degree of complicity between Israel and the US in this affair. This is what has obliged Jonathan Pollard to take the Israeli Government which he served and sacrificed his future for, to court 12 years later.
