RESOLUTION 18: Jonathan Pollard

The annual Meeting of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry:

Recognizing the seriousness of the offences for which US citizen Jonathan Pollard was tried and sentenced;

Noting the severity and length of sentences issued in comparable cases

REPEATS IT[S] APPEAL, (through Ambassador Ed Perkins), to the government of the USA to grant clemency on humanitarian grounds to Jonathan Pollard.
