Pollard In Need of a Chanukah Miracle

The First Candle of Chanukah is lit on December 8th, less than two weeks from now. Jonathan Pollard needs a life-saving Chanukah miracle now! Help Jonathan to celebrate the Holiday of Light at home in Israel where he belongs.

What you can do:

1. Redouble your prayers (and the prayers in all formal minyanim) for the speedy release and return to full health of Yehonatan HaLevy ben Malka. Plead for the Almighty to send Pollard home for the Holiday of Light, Chanukah.

   REMEMBER, as long as Jonathan remains in prison, we are all prisoners. Until you feel his pain, his suffering, the weight of his endless incarceration, your prayers for him, for yourself, and for all the House of Israel will have no transformative power. Kol Yisrael arevim zeh la'zeh.

2. Increase acts of chessed (selfless acts of loving kindness) in the merit of Yehonatan HaLevy ben Malka for a speedy and immediate redemption and return to the Land.

4. In the US, call your elected representatives and urge them to sign the bipartisan letter to President Obama being circulated by Reps Smith and Engel.

5. In Israel, a Prime Minister and President who cannot save one man who the country sent into action 28 years ago and then abandoned will never save millions as war looms on the horizon. The fate of Jonathan Pollard is the fate of all Israel. Empty gestures and meaningless public statements must be replaced with immediate, meaningful action.

6. May the following passuk (Yeshayahu 35:10) be speedily realized for Yehonatan ben Malka amongst all of our Prisoners of Zion and MIAs:

   "And those redeemed by HaShem shall return, and come with singing unto Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and all sorrow and mourning shall flee away."
