Dear Jonathan:

Your letter of March 31, 2003, comes as a great surprise to me, because apparently you have mistaken me for someone else.

I have never met with Attorney General John Ashcroft, nor have I asked him to pardon you. Furthermore, your attorney, Larry Dub, has never asked me to meet with him in Jerusalem. Thus, I have not the slightest idea what you're talking about.

Therefore, I will simply ignore the balance of your letter as being inappropriate and irrelevant.

It is puzzling that Tommy P. Baer, Past President of B'nai B'rith International, has yet to respond to a February 5th, 2003 letter that was specifically addressed to him. Yet he wasted no time responding to a media release containing a letter that clearly was not addressed to him, but to: "Minister of Justice Tommy Lapid"! Jonathan Pollard is still waiting for a response from Tommy Lapid.
