citizens of Spain to support free speech and an independent media in
IMRA gain notes IMRA notes the a stark contrast between Knesset Speaker Burg's concern for
Russian media magnate, Vladmir Goussinky, and his complete indifference to the plight of Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard who is serving his 16th year of a life sentence in an American prison.
Here is what Burg had to say about Pollard:
The Knesset Speaker's spokeswoman, Ayelet Frisch stated: "Avraham Burg never dealt with and never touched the matter of Jonathan Pollard. He does not believe that he personally as Knesset Speaker has to act on behalf of Pollard."
